The StatBetting World Cup Goal Race

Overview

Welcome to the StatBetting World Cup Goal Race — the ultimate World Cup scoring competition.

Build your team by selecting:

• 7 goalscorers from 7 different countries
• 1 Bogey Team to fade
• 1 Star Team to back

Earn points for goals scored and lose points for goals conceded. The player with the highest total score at the end of the tournament wins.

1. Player Picks

• Each entrant must select 7 players.
• Every player selected must represent a different country.
• You cannot select more than one player from the same country.
• Players can be selected by multiple entrants.

Scoring

• You receive +1 point for every goal scored by your selected players during the tournament.

Notes

• Only official tournament matches count.
• Penalty shootout goals do not count.
• Own goals do not count towards player totals.

2. Bogey Team

Each entrant must select one Bogey Team from the following list:

• Haiti
• Jordan
• Curacao
• Cape Verde
• Uzbekistan
• Iraq
• Panama

Scoring

• You lose -1 point for every goal conceded by your Bogey Team during the tournament.

Notes

• All goals conceded in normal time and extra time count.
• Penalty shootout goals do not count.

3. Star Team

Each entrant must select one Star Team from the following list:

• Spain
• France
• England
• Brazil
• Argentina
• Portugal
• Germany
• Netherlands
• Belgium

Scoring

• You receive +1 point for every goal scored by your Star Team during the tournament.

• Goals scored in normal time and extra time count.
• Penalty shootout goals do not count.

4. General Rules

• All picks must be submitted before the tournament begins.
• Once submitted, picks cannot be changed.
• The entrant with the highest total score at the end of the tournament wins.
• In the event of a tie, the prize will be shared unless otherwise stated.
• StatBetting reserves the right to settle any disputes or rule clarifications at its discretion.

Prize details will be announced closer to the start of the tournament once entries have been finalised. The final prize pool may vary depending on the total number of entrants.
